Photographic Repair based in Liverpool
We offer two photographic repair services for you to choose from:
Repair Physical Photos and photographs
If you have a photograph that has been damaged, such as torn, stained or faded; you can send us the photo for scanning and digitally repairing. We will then provide you with a digital copy of the photo and also a fresh print at approximately the same size as your original photo.
If you have taken a photo and it has not turned out as expected all may not be lost. If you have the *negative we may be able to produce a photo as you had expected it to be. We will not make a charge if we cannot repair the photo.

Notice from the this that there is more sky in the negative than on the photo including some clouds. Also notice that there is a small area not developed on the orginal photo. The negative holds a lot more colour information than can actually be printed, but it can be scanned and adjusted like a digital image to bring it back.
*Please note that we are unable to accept APS film; you can identify this as it is returned to you in a capsule with the numbers 1,2,3,4 underneath it. Other film will will be return to you in strips and we can process this.
How to use this service?
- Please call or email us initially.
- Post the photo to us and write on envelope ‘DO NOT BEND‘ (you may wish to use special delivery or courier service for safety) – alternatively we can collect the photo if you are in the local area or you can hand deliver the photo to us.
- We will assess if the photo can be repaired and offer you a fee – if we cannot repair the photo we will return it to you without any charge.
- We will email you a sample of the repair to ensure that you are happy with the repair.
- If you pay by cheque we will wait for the cheque to clear and then send you your original photo, CD of digital photo and a print of your new photo at the same size as your original.
- Alternatively if you are local to us you can pay cash on delivery.
- If you are in the local area we will personally deliver the photo to you, otherwise it will be posted by special delivery.
Service includes:
- a print at the same size as your original;
- a CD of our restored image;
- return of your original image.
Repair Digital Photos and Photographs
If you have taken a digital photo that cannot be retaken and it was not as good as you had expected, perhaps the colours were not quite right, or the exposure was wrong or even there was something in the photo that you wish was not, then we can help to fix these problems for you.
You do not have to pay until you are happy with the sample repaired image(s) we email you. The final fixed image will however only be sent to you once your payment has been received.
How to use this service?
- Email the photo to us and tell us what needs repairing in the photo.
- We will assess if the photo can be repaired and offer you a fee.
- We will email you a sample of the repair to ensure that you are happy with the repair.
- If you pay by cheque we will wait for the cheque to clear and then email you the final version of your repaired photo.
- If you are local to us we can deliver the image to you on CD and accept a cash payment, this will save you having to wait for the cheque to clear.
